Sugar and Spice and all things Nice

Last Sunday at the Betty Noir Studio we were indulging our sweet tooth, with fabulous popcorn and sweet themed shoots. It's a hard job, but somebody's got to do it!

We went for a classic cinema girl theme for the popcorn shoot. A fun pin up girl style, with flying popcorn, action shots (I'm still finding the odd piece of popcorn hidden around the studio!).

Of course we couldn't go ahead with the shoot without sampling a wonderful peanut butter popcorn recipe before hand, and serving them in handmade popcorn boxes, as featured in the shoot.

Why not try the recipe out for yourself? It's simply gooey deliciousness, and really quick and easy to make :)

You will need...

- 2X 90g bags of popcorn

- 1/2 cup margarine

- 3/4 cup brown sugar

- 1/4 cup peanut butter (chunky is great!)

- a handfull of  marshmallows (optional)

Method...

Without the popcorn, toss all of the ingredients into a saucepan, mixing them together over a low to medium heat. Keep stirring until you have a liquid, and all the ingredients are mixed together.

Pour over the popcorn, and mix it in.

Serve in our popcorn boxes. You can print off our free template here, and make your own.

Enjoy :)

Of course we have to mention the more glamorous side of our photo shoot too, which included some stunning Dita Von Teese style shots and striking beauty head shots. Such a versatile model!

You can check out the rest of our photos from this shoot either here in our galleries, or join us on our Facebook page.

Until next time, hope you all enjoy a magical movie night in, with some delicious peanut butter popcorn x
